The Hermes Retail team runs a portfolio spread across the sector that includes retail parks, shopping centres, unit shops, and indirect holdings. We believe performance in our sector is driven by a combination of investment expertise and specialist management. To this end we have entered into Partnerships with some of the world’s leading retail developers. At the same time we have developed our own investment market specialist expertise with individual investment managers responsible for Shopping Centres, Retail Warehouses and Unit Shops

Hermes Real Estate holds over £4bn* in the retail sector, of which more than £2bn is invested in 22 shopping centres and factory outlets throughout the UK. Hermes Retail strategically manages the retail portfolio on the basis of an understanding of the needs of shoppers and retailers balanced with the returns required by investors.

Within the retail warehouse sector there are substantial Parks within key locations such as Greater London and Leeds. In addition, there has been investment into the major indirect retail warehouse vehicles to achieve assets and geographical diversification.
