Hermes Small & Mid Cap

The UK team currently manages three different strategies:

  • UK Small and Mid Cap: this covers stocks that are in the FTSE 250 and FTSE SmallCap indices i.e. the FTSE All-Share index excluding the FTSE 100.
  • UK Smaller Companies: this covers stocks that are in the FTSE SmallCap and FTSE Fledgling indices, together the FTSE All-Small.
  • UK AIM: this covers stocks that are in the FTSE AIM All-Share index which is separate from the UK main market (FTSE100, FTSE250, SmallCap and Fledgling) and is less regulated. Nonetheless its market capitalisation is substantially greater than the FTSE SmallCap and Fledgling in part due to preference amongst companies in recent years to list on AIM rather than the main market.
