Hermes was recently awarded the title of Real Estate Manager of the Year in the Professional Pensions SAIMA Awards (Specialist and Alternative Investment Manager Awards), which recognise fund management firms that offer the highest level of service, performance and innovation.
Hermes' win was based on its performance, innovation, communication and service standards for the Hermes Property Unit Trust, which has outperformed its peers on a relative basis in these difficult market conditions and differentiated itself from its competitors through its corporate governance; market penetration; alignment with investors; and its responsible property investment, an area in which Hermes believes it is a leader.
