Mr. Hermsdorf joined Hermes in 2009 with primary responsibility for stock selection
within the global financial sector. He joined from Fidelity Management & Research
Co. where he served as an equity analyst focusing on the financial sector and had
managed the Fidelity Select Insurance Fund. Mr. Hermsdorf began his career as an
investment banking financial analyst with Robertson Stephens & Co. before moving
to HarbourVest Partners as an associate focusing on venture capital and private
equity investments for emerging TMT companies. Mr. Hermsdorf holds an MBA from the
University of Chicago and BA degree in Economics from Harvard University.
