Anne Underhill, CFA

Principal
Ms. Underhill joined Hermes in 2009 as a senior portfolio manager
focusing on the health care and utilities sectors. She joined from Fortis Investments
where she was a senior member of the global equity team focusing on health care
and utilities between 2005-2009. She began her career in 1976 with Alliance Capital
Management as an analyst for the energy sector. In 1978 she moved to Sun Life Assurance
as an analyst on the consumer and utilities sectors before moving to State Street
Global Advisors in 1982 as a Senior Vice President covering health care. In 1995
she moved to Putnam Investments where she served as the Head of the Health Care
team. Between 1998 and 2005 she worked at Baring Asset Management where she was
the Global Sector Head for Health Care as well as Deputy Head of the US Investment
Team. Ms. Underhill is a CFA charterholder and holds an MBA from Boston University
as well as a BS from the University of Bridgeport.
