Sir Mark Moody-Stuart - Chairman Sir Mark Moody-Stuart was Chairman of the Shell Group from 1998 to 2001 and Chairman of Anglo American plc from 2002-2009. After completing a doctorate in geology in 1966 at Cambridge, he worked for Shell starting as an exploration geologist, living in Holland, Spain, Oman, Brunei, Australia, Nigeria, Turkey and Malaysia, and the UK. A director of HSBC, Accenture, Saudi Aramco, International Institute for Sustainable Development. He is Chairman of the Global Business Coalition for HIV/AIDS and of the Innovative Vector Control Consortium for combating insect borne disease. He chaired task forces on renewable energy for the G8 and for business for the 2002 World Summit on Sustainable Development in Johannesburg. Board Member of the Global Reporting Initiative 2002-7. President Liverpool School of Tropical Medicine 1997-2008. Member of the UN Secretary General's Advisory Council for the Global Compact 2001-2004. Member of the Global Compact Board and Chairman of the Global Compact Foundation 2006. Back to EOS Board page
