Hermes Fund Managers Appoints Chief Executive Officer

The Board of Directors of Hermes Fund Managers (Hermes) is pleased to announce that Saker Nusseibeh has been appointed Chief Executive Officer (CEO) with immediate effect. This appointment comes following a thorough external search process.

Saker joined Hermes in June 2009 as a main Board Director and Head of Investment to drive, support and represent the investment capabilities of Hermes. He has brought more than 25 years of experience in investment management to Hermes and has created the Investment Office (IO) which is responsible for ensuring that all investment teams can and do generate investment excellence.

Saker will remain as Head of Investment, a role he has continued in over the past six months while acting as interim CEO. Since its inception, the Investment Office has hired senior managers with in-depth investment knowledge, talent and experience. This team will take on increased day-to-day responsibility for the Investment Office, but will still report into Saker.
